Raj Thackeray’s Personal Life:
Raj Thackeray was born on 14 June 1968 in Mumbai. His father’s name is Shrikant Keshav Thackeray and mother’s name is Kunda Thackeray. Shrikant Thackeray is Bal Thackeray’s younger brother and Raj Thackeray’s mother is Bal Thackeray’s wife Meena Thackeray’s younger sister. Raj’s father has been a musician and like his elder brother Bal Thackeray is also a cartoonist and writer. Raj Thackeray’s wife is the daughter of director Mohan Wagh, whose name is Sharmila Thackeray.
Raj Thackeray was educated at Bal Mohan Vidya Mandir School. After that Raj Thackeray called Sir J. J. Received art education from college. Raj is a painter like his father and uncle. Raj Thackeray is very much attached to Bollywood. Raj has published a photo biography on his uncle Bal Thackeray, whose name is Keshav Bal Thackeray.

Politics of Raj Thackeray:
Raj Thackeray initially started his politics with Shiv Sena. He was once seen as the future leader of Shiv Sena, but Bal Thackeray leaned more towards his son Uddhav Thackeray, which angered Raj Thackeray and formed a separate party of his own in 2006. Which was named Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena. Its symbol is the railway engine. Those who were earlier workers in Shiv Sena later joined MNS.
Initially this party attacked North Indians both politically and physically. In the time of 2003, Raj had resolved to plant 80 lakh trees in the whole of Maharashtra, but it remained a dream. In the 2009 elections, his party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena got good seats.
Controversy with Raj Thackeray:
In 2000, Raj Thackeray was accused of committing violence against North Indians. Raj Thackeray had said in a rally in Dadar that if the people of North Indians do some bigotry, they will not be allowed to stay in Mumbai and they will have to leave Mumbai. Raj Thackeray once ordered and threatened film star Amitabh Bachchan not to release his films in Maharashtra.
